Wedding madness!!

Abu and I are at our busiest best! The 25th year madness keeps getting bigger and bigger and we would have it no other way.

Abu is in London yet again busy shooting for THE BOOK! I can tell you this… it will be simply FANTASTIC!!!

Besides for the book.. priority is a close friends daughters wedding..  God willing it will be THE WEDDING OF ALL WEDDINGS!!

Abu and I feel privileged to be such a huge part of this wedding! We have been in trusted with the most important day of someones life and to hold ALL the creative reigns... Its absolutely overwhelming. From clothes to decor. From food to venue. And the card... I guarantee that it does not get bigger or better or busier!

WHOSE WEDDING?? That only time will tell ;)

I really hope to write more often once the craziness dies down.. the question is… will it die down!!!

Shoot!

We have been shooting across the world for  our new book! Details later!

We went to Death Valley and Vegas in America earlier this year  and have just returned from England after an extensive, exciting and exhausting shoot.

England has such great energy that working there is easy.

AND there was bright sunshine on the outdoor shoots and rain when we shot indoors!!!!

Our pictures are being shot by Ram Shergill who is a MAJOR photographer in the UK and editor of DRAMA magazine... Because it’s all about the drama at the end of the day!!

We shot in London, Brighton and Bath. Also a day in the wonderful Sheffield Gardens.

There are some BREATHTAKING pictures which we hope to share with all of you soon.... In THE BOOK!!! (Details later!)

The Charcoal Project

This year had the opening of The Charcoal Project. Sussane Roshan came to us with her dream of starting a luxury interior store. We got on board as Creative Directors. It was a wonderful experience to be able to help fashion and create not just the store, with Sussane’s passion, energy and quirky sensibility, but also give it a certain ‘off-center’ luxurious character.
Abu and I displayed our furniture, here at The Charcoal Project, for the very first time. We have always designed furniture when we take up an interior project.
This was a first. And I admit, we were a little nervous.
But the nervousness was sternly dealt with by the fact that we sold out in the first few days of the store opening.
Then we were nervous about replacing all that furniture …
So on and so forth!

Intro

Abu and I are on the verge of completing 25 years together in August this year!
We are thrilled.  We can’t believe how fabulous this journey has been. We consider ourselves blessed!
BUT …
We couldn’t have done it without the support of all the people that have bought our garments, all the people that have appreciated our work, all the people that have followed our work through our first book, the press, our TV show. The list is endless.
I hope to reach out to all of you and more, through this blog.
